Dream. Design. Deliver.
From ground prep to first swim — here's what to expect.
Brisa clients always know where their project stands. With 15 well-planned stages, expert coordination, and weekly updates from our team, the entire process feels smooth and exciting.
Site Preparation
Before construction begins, the property must be properly prepared. This may include removing fences, clearing trees or obstacles, and ensuring access for construction equipment. Any existing structures or landscaping that will remain are carefully considered and protected.
Utility Marking & Layout
Gas, electric, and water lines are marked for safety. Then we physically mark the pool layout in your yard, so you can visualize the exact shape and placement before digging begins.
Excavation
This is where the transformation starts. Our excavation crew uses heavy machinery to dig your pool shell, following exact design measurements and elevations. It's a dramatic step — your pool begins to take real shape.
Steel Reinforcement (Rebar)
We install a rebar cage throughout the pool structure, giving the shell strength and durability. This steel grid forms the bones of your pool and ensures it stands the test of time.
Plumbing & Stub-Outs
Next, we rough-in the plumbing lines — including skimmers, drains, returns, and any water features. These are pressure-tested for performance and positioned precisely for circulation and equipment layout.
Licensed Electrical Work
A licensed electrician completes all necessary wiring for pumps, lights, heaters, automation systems, and grounding. All work complies with code and passes inspection before moving forward.
Gunite Application (Pool Shell)
The gunite is sprayed in place to create your permanent pool shell — solid, structural, and built to last. After curing for several days, it becomes the foundation for all future steps.
Backfill & Site Clean-Up
Once the shell and plumbing are complete, we backfill and compact the areas around the pool, prepare the surface for decking, and do a rough clean-up of the yard.
Tile & Coping Installation
Waterline tile and coping stones (the pool's edge) are installed with precision. These design details start to reveal the look and feel of your custom finish.
Deck Installation
Whether you chose travertine, pavers, concrete, or marble, your deck is installed with precision, slope control, and beautiful pattern alignment. This is one of the final structural pieces — your outdoor space is almost ready to enjoy.
Equipment Setup
Your selected pump, filter, heater, automation panel, and other features are installed and prepared for activation. We ensure every component is correctly positioned, tested, and ready for startup.
Interior Finish & Water Fill
Your pool's interior finish (plaster, pebble etc.) is applied, revealing the final color and texture. The pool is then filled with water immediately to protect the surface and begin startup.
Fire-Up & Water Balancing
We test all systems, balance the water chemistry, and activate your full pool setup. This ensures everything runs properly and efficiently before you take ownership.
Pool School (Walkthrough & Training)
You will receive a hands-on walkthrough of your pool's features: lighting, automation, heating, and basic care. We take time to make sure you feel confident and informed — and yes, we're still just a call away any time after.
Final Handoff & Ongoing Support
Your Project Manager completes a final quality check and walkthrough. From there, you can opt into Brisa's weekly maintenance plan, knowing your pool is in expert hands long after construction ends.
Your backyard is more than a space — it's a story to be lived.
A well-built pool is more than water and stone — it's a foundation for memories.
